international consultant and speaker who is dedicated to helping
organizations realize their dreams. Through her coaching, consulting,
and speaking, she helps people dare to dream big.

- Background
Beth founded Dream Catcher Consulting in 2004.
She is
also Associate Faculty in the Master of Arts in Leadership Program
and MBA program at
Royal Roads University.
Previously, she held
Organization Development and Human Resources positions with such
firms as JDS Uniphase, Export Development Canada, and OmniMark
Technologies Corporation. Beth also worked at Carleton University,
Texas Tech University and Western Illinois University.

- Education
Beth has a Master of Science in Organization Development from
Pepperdine University, as well as a Master of Science Degree from
Western Illinois University in College Student Personnel. She is a
licensed consultant in the Hogan Personality Assessment, and is
certified as an Emotional Intelligence Coach (EQ). Beth is
certified by the Barrett Values Centre to administer the Cultural
Transformation Tools with individual leaders, teams and
organizations. She also
completed the Advanced Human Resources Management program at the
University of Toronto, a Certificate in Management Development from
the School of Business at Carleton University, and a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Psychology from Carleton University.

Affiliations and Accomplishments
A Canadian
Human Resources Professional (CHRP), Beth holds membership in the
British Columbia Human Resources Management Association. In
2006, She served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian
Association of Professional Speakers.
In 2005, Beth was the keynote
speaker at the HR and Capital Management Conference in Cyprus. She
also has been a featured speaker at a number of venues in Canada.
As an author, Beth's most recent work Change
Happens, was released in 2011. Change Happens offers practical wisdom and tools for leaders and
change practitioners who are navigating organizational change. Beth
also wrote Done Deal: Your Guide to Merger and
Acquisition Integration, based on her personal experience in the
post-merger integration of several high tech companies and two years
of proprietary research with top M&A experts. She is also a contributing expert author to
Awakening the Workplace. Her chapter, “Connecting Heart and
Mind: The Secret to Being Awake and Fully Alive at Work,” offers
readers additional strategies for experiencing more fulfillment at

Community Service
Beth is a dedicated community service volunteer,
and has contributed her time and talent to a number of projects. Currently,
she devotes her time as a board member with Leadership Vancouver
Island and the Cowichan Valley Hospice Society. Beth also serves as
a mentor to women in business through the Women's Enterprise Centre.
As the program coordinator for the OD Practitioners Network on
Vancouver Island, she coordinates quarterly professional development
opportunities for local consultants. She also initiated a
fundraising campaign to generate money to help children in China pay
tuition so that they could learn how to read and write. In 2005,
she spent a week in Dallas providing direct service to Hurricane
Katrina Evacuees. Dream Catcher Consulting supports pay it forward
opportunities to dream big for self and others.
